Pedagogical Ideas

In the classroom, SlideRocket can be used in a variety of ways. Some ideas include the following:

  • Modern Resume - Use SlideRocket to create a presentation-based resume that will get you noticed. This is a great exercise for graduating seniors or students looking for summer jobs.
  • Build a Better Newsletter - Take your class or school newsletter paperless by using SlideRocket to create a presentation newsletter that can be viewed on the class or school website. It's far more interesting than two columns of black text on goldenrod paper!
  • Market It! -In a business course or computer applications course, have students work in groups to create a new product. Use SlideRocket to develop a presentation marketing plan for the products created. Post the plans to the class website.
  • Teacher Exclusive: Presentation Lesson - Use SlideRocket to build your lesson. Deliver your lesson just as you would a conference presentation.
