Implementing Loom Technology as an Online Instructional Strategy
Renee M. Winter, Grand Canyon University
Abstract
The number of universities providing online learning has increased and learners are experiencing a transformation from traditional face-to-face instruction to online instruction. Faculty who provide online instruction should know of how to connect with learners through different technological formats. As learners transition to online learning environments, many may find that they are not familiar with navigating an online platform, which may cause a negative experience. Faculty want to focus on all learning styles by engaging all learners in meaningful learning. Loom technology supports connecting with learners visually, verbally, and logically to help them understand the course objectives.
