This was a very interesting study. Much of what is discussed I have seen in my own classroom experiences. It is good to have some support for my own experiential observations. I definitely think it would have been interesting to have the pre-test to see if what students were claiming to know actually matched up with what they did know. So it is good this was listed as a limitation. The statistics presented seemed to just be percentages. Did you run any types of analyses to determine correlations or statistical significance? Also, can you really say they overwhelmingly learned something without operationalizing what learning means for the study? Based on the data presented, all it seems you can say is the numbers of response given for each question. I also think it might have been important to determine if the student watched the entire podcost or just parts of it particularly since the podcast was on the longer side. Otherwise, you definitely presented some interesting information! Dr. Geyer
Filliped classroom is an innovative practice and it offers an opportunity for in class meaningful and active interaction with students, focusing on student learning and grappling with content--thanks for sharing!
Wondering if there are lingering questions that need further study for a better understanding of the matter. Also, wondering why focused on specifically podcasts in this study.
Thanks for taking the time to invest on this study!
