I reviewed the Self-Monitoring and Conformity Pressure paper by Takeesha Roland-Jenkins.  

• The focus of the research is relevant to the school and important to improving the success of all students.
• The paper underscores the need for further inquiry with a larger statistical sample.
• The paper fits the parameters of the JIR
• The paper addresses a missing piece of research in this area, adds to our knowledge, and certainly asks for additional research in the area.  
• Very interesting read.
