I think that the concept of online counseling as explained in this paper is great. The online counseling mentioned in this paper takes counseling it to the next level. Online counseling could be another support system the student has no affiliation with GCU. It would be like going to the doctor, but doing it from the convenience of one's computer. I think that this could help students to not panic when they see something occur in the online classroom that is not to their understanding. An online counselor can counsel the student how to properly ask for clarification instead of (or at least before) reaching the state of panic. In my experiences, students assume instead of actually reading or locating the needed resources. Online couseling can assist students in how to handle situations in a calm manner. I really appreicate this paper becuase it has some great resources and innovtive ideas! Excellent work! :-)
