Good work in describing the state of online education in the world today. I think that disconnects can be merged by encouraging social networking. In social networking, I feel connected to all the people with whom I am connected. The virtual "wall" helps me to feel like I know what an individual is working on or has accomplished. Facebook and Linkedin are perfect examples. We do have the class wall and online profiles in our classroom, but maybe we need to encourage more students to update their profiles and use the class wall after the first week of class. You have some awesome ideas. Nice work!
