Nice work on this paper. I think that journaling is very beneficial to students, especially new college students, so they can keep track of their progress and developments. However, I think that some students only write journal entries if it is required by curriculum. I have not experienced many students going above and beyond because most want to just do what is required. I think your paper is very informative and provides a great resource for faculty members!
