Halo Meets Canva
Megan Neel is a Full-Time Faculty Member in the College of Humanities and Social Sciences at Grand Canyon University. She teaches undergraduate and graduate courses including university success, psychological research & ethics, and personality psychology. She is currently working on a PhD in General Psychology with emphasis in Learning, Technology, and Psychology. Her research interests include emotional intelligence and building community with students and colleagues. Outside of work her favorite things include spending time with her amazing niece and nephews.

Abstract
With GCU’s recent transition to Halo, faculty are presented with a new challenge and a new opportunity—to reset and refresh. Using Canva’s abundance of templates and personalization capabilities, updating supplemental materials for Halo can be streamlined without reducing support for student success. This presentation provides a variety of examples for practical applications of Canva that can be easily and quickly implemented to create an elevated and refreshed digital classroom environment.
