Teaching Showcase Instructional Strategies

Abstract

Online instructors have a unique duty of engaging students in the online class environment. Unlike ground classes, online classes have limited opportunity for students and instructors to interact between them. Though not required, as an online instructor, I do my best to engage with students personally as well to establish a connection. This presentation presents some of my practices to stay engaged with students, even with ones who are not as responsive and bringing back them by encouraging with God’s words.
