 | Denise Matus is an Immersive Simulations facilitator at Grand Canyon University. The emphasis of her master's degree is in Nursing education and she has obtained the following certifications Certified Nurse Educator-Clinical and Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator. Denise current serves on the board of Arizona Simulation Network and Society of Simulation in Healthcare advisory committee. Denise demonstrates a strong passion for simulation pedagogy and continued education having presented at a variety of conferences and developing continued education for training. For the year 2020-2021 Denise was the recipient of the prestigious Grand Canyon University Outstand Faculty Scholarship award and Faculty Career Advisor Award of the year. |
