Provide your feedback on the current discussion papers to become a reviewer for the Journal of Instructional Research.
We are seeking your participation in reviewing, providing feedback and discussing the current submissions to JIR. All individuals who participate in the review process are issued a certificate of participation and will be acknowledged in the 2020 volume as a member of the Peer Review Board.
Current discussion papers include:
•Intentional Integration of Faith and Learning
•Understanding-Connection Between Emotions and Motivation
•Improving Retention Rates in Ecore Composition: A Problem Identified
•Bhutanese In-Service Science Teachers’ Conceptions of the Nature Of Science
To participate in the review process (while simultaneously fostering your own knowledge of emergent teaching practices), visit the JIR website at: https://cirt.gcu.edu/jir/discussionpapers. The public review period lasts through February 2020.
The Journal of Instructional Research (JIR) is an annual publication by the Center for Innovation in Research and Teaching at Grand Canyon University that highlights research relevant to best practices in post-secondary instruction. Unique to JIR is the use of a two-stage evaluation process with public peer review, interactive discussion and final formalized peer review.
Dulce Ruelas on receiving CIRT's Scholarship Recognition Program award
2019 was a year of enhancing pedagogical skills and rewarding research and publication milestones. I was able to work with the Latino Caucus of Public Health in affiliation with the American Public Health Association in publishing three poems in the bilingual (Spanish and English) book Latinx Salud Poems, An Inaugural Collection.
