I enjoyed it thoroughly, and agree with your points, especially about a contract drawn up by each group about who is responsible for what part of a group project. This brings back memories of my own teaching experiences with group projects and how important such a contract is for the support and protection of each student as well as the instructor. Another stellar performance. We have all faced challenges in group work, either from being in a group ourselves, or as instructors trying to facilitate any inequities. However, once we recognize these, it is true that students can gain so much as they take on roles, active learning, and increased leadership.
