You did a great job with this presentation. As someone who uses humor in both my ground and online classrooms, I appreciate the details you gave about the actual physical responses that occur in the body when humor is presented. This is a topic that is very dear to me and I love that more and more instructors are using it and seeing the positive impact humor can have, not just on engagement, but in the relationships that it can help build with students. You shared some new websites that I have not used before and I look forward to checking them out!
This is wonderful. You even use humor as you present this material. We can use humor in so many ways, not just in the forum, but being light-hearted as we answer questions. Adding humor would certainly drive students to the classroom!
Great job on this presentation! I believe humor is an under-utilized way to keep students engaged, and help them remember difficult information. I find that students, and people in general, tend to remember things that make them laugh (even if is for the purpose of learning). We are able to recall these occurrences more readily as they have the added value of "impacting our emotions".
