Research Ready Introduction
Are you Research Ready?
The Research Ready Certification Program (RRCP) is designed to help GCU Faculty and Staff become more confident in their research skills. The Research Ready Certificate is comprised of a series of online training modules that cover research basics such as design, methodologies, and qualitative and quantitative data analysis.
- To complete the Research Ready program, you must complete each of the nine instructional modules and submit a research proposal. Completion of the Research Ready program is done independently; you may work on the modules at your own pace and convenience.
- At the completion of the instructional modules, you will demonstrate your knowledge of research development and design to propose a research study on a topic you are interested in conducting. Please note that by completing this proposal, you are not required to implement your research study; rather, this proposal provides a means of demonstrating your understanding of key design and methodological principles. Once you submit your proposal, it will be reviewed by a member of the CIRT team and feedback will be provided. If you decide to conduct your proposed research project, you are encouraged to utilize this feedback to help refine your project plan.
- A professional development certificate will be issued for your successful completion of the Research Ready program at the time feedback is provided on your research proposal.
