I am a new instructor. I am a believer, and there is nothing better to practice in the institution that aligns with your beliefs. I believe this "that salvation comes through Jesus Christ alone; that salvation involves the redemption of the whole person and is offered freely to all who exercise faith in Jesus Christ". I think GCU nailed it with their doctrine statement of faith and belief.

I am a new instructor but I plan on using the doctrinal statement in Christian worldview as students think through some of life's most important questions.

I fully embrace the statement and appreciate the opportunity to share my belief in God with my students.

I appreciate the freedom that Grand Canyon University offers faculty to incorporate Christianity into academia. I look forward to this new method of teaching my learners and incorporating my faith into practice.

I am a new instructor, but I am Quaker and Mr. Mueller's statements on world view align the theology I was raised in and still believe.

I'm excited that I can not only share my love of communication but also my love for Christ and encourage students to do the same. I appreciate the doctrinal statement and the video. I love the firm stance on God's word wrapped in love.

In my classroom as an elementary teacher, I carry myself and bring into my classroom the power of the Holy Spirit. I fill my class with instrumental worship, I pray for those kids that need it (in a private manner as I teach in a charter school), and pray for my classroom at the beginning of and throughout the school year. I pray for coworkers that need prayer when they come to me and even when they don't. I'm excited to have my first role as an adjunct professor be in GCU, where I can openly share my faith and be here for the students who need prayer and request it of me. I'm excited to be able to share scripture with my class if it impacts our lesson without worrying about doing the wrong thing.

I appreciate GCU's transparency and what their Doctrinal Statement means.  The videos were helpful and brought a personal connection.  I am a new hire adjunct faculty member, and I look forward to representing and educating GCU students.  I appreciate how GCU accepts all people!

Grand Canyon Universities doctrinal statement embodies John 3:16 - For God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten son and whomsoever believes in him shall have everlasting life. The doctrinal statement can be used to reinforce what we as Christians believe but also as an open invitation to those who may not share the same beliefs or faith to become a Christian. In addition, the doctrinal statement can be used as a mirror to help those of us in leadership be reminded how we are experienced and whether our interactions with others consistently aligns with what it means to be a believer in Christ.

Grand Canyon in its doctrinal statement, as explained by Brian Muller, shows real christian values through expression of love to everyone. I will definitely make use of this statement in my class.

Grand Canyon University's Doctrinal Statement is a breath of fresh air to those who live in such a divided world and gives us an opportunity to live by example in a faith based comfortable environment.

I have the humble honor of instructing Christian Worldview in my ground classes, and every class presents an example of our doctrinal statement either in coursework or in the example by myself and my assistants as we express our faith through our living. It is an honor to touch lives through being a living testimony.

I attended GCU as a student in the late 90s.  I came back to complete my doctoral degree 20 years later.  I have now been hired as an adjunct faculty member.  GCU has always maintained values that support my faith, the faith of all students, and the ability for all to share their ideas.  It is quite remarkable.

I just got hired as an adjunct clinical instructor. It's good the GCU has guiding principles on how instructor should interact with students in matters of faith.

I felt that this module easily explained the GCU doctrinal statement and theology behind it, as well as the expectations by staff and students.  I am also a new hire to GCU and haven't used the doctrinal statement.  However, as a school teacher of early teens, I use Christian values to model and promote kindness to everyone, no matter their background, beliefs or actions.  As Jesus has taught that we should love thy neighbor.  If we all could be kind and considerate of others, this world would be a much better place.
