As I move through my orientation at GCU, I’ve been reflecting on how meaningful it is to teach in a place where faith and learning go hand in hand. I’m genuinely excited to use the university’s doctrinal statement as a foundation for engaging with students—whether they come from a Christian background or are exploring other beliefs. It’s a powerful tool for creating thoughtful conversations, encouraging deeper understanding, and helping students grow both spiritually and academically in a supportive, faith-centered environment.
