Award Criteria

The attainment for which the candidate is to be honored shall have occurred or culminated during the five years preceding the nomination for the award. The award will be made solely on the basis of support and promotion of scholarly or creative achievement.

Evaluation criteria include:

• Quality of the nominee's support initiatives with emphasis on originality, imagination, and innovation.
• Impact on faculty and/or learners at GCU.
• Contribution to undergraduate and/or graduate education.
• Contributions to the university, profession, and wider community.
