Donna DeTommaso-Kleinert received the Outstanding Dissertation Student Award for her study on An Emotional Quotient Profile of an Emergent Teacher Leader by the Arizona School Administrators, Higher Education Division.
Donna's study shows how emergent teacher leaders were significantly higher on the emotional quotient scale than non teacher leaders in the area of independence, empathy, stress management, stress tolerance, reality testing, and overall general mood and optimism. Emergent teachers tested in a similar fashion to those in the business sector.
