Post-Pandemic Teaching in the Online Classroom - In this session you will glean a better understanding of how to deal with the challenges and changes post pandemic so that you can be more effective as an online instructor.
CIRT SoTL Programs and Resources – Session attendees of this session will learn about all of the CIRT programming and resources that are offered through our center and how you can access them!
Writing a SoTL Manuscript In Response to a Call for Papers – This session will walk you through how to successfully write a manuscript in response for a call for papers.
MAXQDA for SoTL – This session will speak to how to use the MAXQDA computer software programming software that GCU provides all students and faculty for qualitative data analysis. Common data analysis approaches for SoTL projects will be discussed.
SPSS for SoTL - This session will speak to how to use the SPSS computer software programming software that GCU provides all students and faculty for quantitative data analysis. Common data analysis approaches for SoTL projects will be discussed.
Institutional Requirements for Conducting SoTL Research at GCU – This session will review all requirements for conducting research at GCU, and how to tackle each – the best part…CIRT is here to support you – every step of the way!
SoTL Project Lightning Talks – EXAMPLES are EVERYTHING! What exactly is SoTL! What makes a “GOOD SoTL Project?” Sign up to attend this session…SoTL Lightning talks are a series of 10 minute ‘recaps’ of research presentations of faculty SoTL research studies that were presented at National Conferences that will be presented in 20 minute bundles.
Disseminating SoTL Research - You’ve completed your research study (whew!)… now what? This session overviews journal and conference outlets that showcase the scholarship of teaching and learning. As an added bonus, we will explore decision-making strategies for selecting a realistic, appropriate dissemination outlet for your research on teaching.
Post-Pandemic Teaching Strategies – In this session, we will discuss how to approach teaching best practices post-pandemic. What have we learned that we can apply in the traditional classroom that can improve our teaching pedagogy and improve student outcomes and satisfaction.
One on One SoTL Research Consultations - As part of the SoTL Summit, you will have the opportunity individually in person or via zoom with one of our CIRT researchers to discuss your specific research questions. Appointments are limited to 15 minutes.

Helen, I just viewed the video on MAX QDA. I could not attend the sessions; however, I am going through them today and tomorrow. I have been impressed with the informative and helpful information regarding all the resources available to faculty engaging in SOTL and other research opportunities. -Mirta
