It appears that all of the course- and instructor-specific GradeMark comment sets have been deleted from Turn It In - TWICE, recently. This has resulted in a substantial increase in the amount of time it takes to give feedback and will result in a substantial decrease in the amount and depth of the feedback I am able to provide.
Can anyone help my understand why this happened, why it keeps happening, and how to prevent it from happening again?
Kind Regards,
Kimberly

Kimberly, I have never used the GradeMark feature in Turnitin. Are we expected to use it?
Ron
"While Turnitin is accompanied by a feedback feature called GradeMark, Grand Canyon University does not use this feature. Faculty members should use the appropriate Learning Management system to provide students with substantive feedback as outlined in the Online Faculty Policy Manual ("How to Use TII", n.d.).
There is actually a workshop being offered twice today (1:00 and 4:00 AZ time) that will offer tips on Effective Efficient Feedback. Refer to the email sent on Friday regarding Professional Development.
Thanks,
Georgette

Dear Georgette,
Thank you for this information - that is very interesting, and I'm curious to know why they would not use such an efficient tool that is already available. I have used it to provide MORE than the feedback required by the Faculty Manual.
I cannot "attend" the workshop. Can you tell me where the information will be available later tonight?
