Our SoTL Spotlight for March 2023 is Charlotte Christie Phillips, PHD, MS, LPC, NBCC Dr. Phillips is a full-time faculty member in GCU’s Graduate Clinical Mental Health Counseling program, a Co-Chair for the Professional Practices Committee alongside Dr. Jill Willis, and a mentee of Drs Grigg, Hammond, and McCann. She has published SoTL research on Cultural Competency for Leaders in Higher Education, and also maintains ongoing research on substance use issues. Her work is primarily grounded in her faith and love for God. Dr. Phillips has found a passion for the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) research since enrolling in and completing THINK! in Fall of 2021. Since then, she has subsequently served on the CIRT Faculty Advisory Board, and has collaborated with GCU faculty on SoTL research publications and presentations. In addition, she is assisting in the creation of the Research Bites SPSS modules for SoTL research. | ||
