Tom Dyer Associate Professor joined Grand Canyon University in 2008. Tom teaches UNV and PSY courses in the College of Humanities and Social Sciences. Dyer is also a certified elementary teacher and teaches traditional and online courses as an adjunct in the College of Education. He has more than 10 years of experience in higher education and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Arizona State University, a Master's in Education Administration and a Master's in Psychology from Grand Canyon University. He is currently pursuing his Doctorate degree in General Psychology with an emphasis in integrating Technology, Learning, and Psychology. His professional interests include research to examine student engagement and participation in the online learning platform, student motivation, proximity and social presence, learning and cognition, collaboration, technology integration in the classroom, classroom assessment techniques, and academic integrity. |
