| This episode, with special guests Georgette Gorman and Tiffany Newell, speaks to how faculty handle challenges, which is especially relevant given the current global health concerns. Georgette shares strategies for planning to move courses online, including reviewing the syllabus and anticipating changes that need to be made. Tiffany emphasizes the importance of communicating to students and being present in classes. Both guests stress the importance of extending grace and to incorporate technology judiciously. Now is a great time to experiment with new interactive applications but keep in mind the added learning curve and stress that comes with the process. |

Great podcast - wondering now that we have done Zoom, Loom, Flipgrid, Voicethread, Padlet, Polleverywhere, and SeI esaw, let's try out Microsoft Teams. I trialed last class and one person used it - this happens each time I try out a new tool. But past students are thanking me now.
Youversion tip - in the app share the verse of the day to your to-do list - I use TickTick and share verses to a folder for GCU verses there. Then when I need a verse to share I have a list of them.
It is great to be reminded to try new things and not be hard on ourselves when we are using new resources.
Thank you!
