Thank you for posting this valuable video. It is definitely important to understand how critical thinking can be used in the non-traditional classroom because it can be a new environment for many students. As an online instructor, I find that when students ask questions, I can tell if they are thinking critically or not. I can tell if the student has actually read the material or if he/she is asking a "blind" question. Critical thinking skills are needed in order to follow directions and execute a task. Asking student follow-up questions can help them to think critically in the online setting because they have time to think about their answer before they respond. I appreciate this video!
