Faculty Resource Center (FRC) Login Instructions

By Shanna Huslig – March 25, 2014
OfflinePhoto of Shanna Huslig

GCU faculty members must click "sign in" in the upper left corner of the page and enter GCU login credentials to access university-specific resources (including FRC and LLA). The login credentials are the same as what is used to login to your work computer.  Once logged into the CIRT system, select "Faculty Resources" on the right side of the main menu to see the FRC and LLA.

Looking for the Request for Extension Form

OfflinePhoto of Shanna Huslig Shanna Huslig said 17 months ago

Hi Gary!

Are you looking for the Incomplete form?  If so, it is located in the FRC under Policies.

Offline Todd Forrest said 17 months ago

Thanks for the reminder Shanna. I always forget to sign in!

OfflinePhoto of Shanna Huslig Shanna Huslig said 17 months ago

You are very welcome, Todd!

Offline Joanie Colson said 17 months ago

Where is this tab? I don't see it on the right side of the page. Is it on the first page after you log in?

I only see Faculty Resoure Center (FRC) login instructions on the right side of the page and it leads me here.

This has been very frustrating.

OfflinePhoto of Shanna Huslig Shanna Huslig said 17 months ago

Hi Joanie!

Yes, you have to login first by clicking "Sign in" at the top left corner of the page.  Once you do that, you will see the Faculty Resource Center tab.

Offline Sonja Rice said 17 months ago

I need to change my W2 information. Who do I contact? Thanks.

Sonja

Offline Joanie Colson said 17 months ago

Shanna,

After spending about an hour on the phone with tech support my account was straightened out and I can now see the Facutly Resource tab.

But I still cannot find Task Stream.  I looked through all my emails for an enrollment code or instructions and did not find any.

The tech that helped me said I only needed to click on college specific but I am still not seeing it.

How do I get into my Task Stream?

OfflinePhoto of Shanna Huslig Shanna Huslig said 17 months ago

Hi Sonia!

You would need to contact Human Resources for information on how to change your W2.  You may also find information regarding that in the Faculty Resource Center (FRC).

Hi Joanie!

I am glad that you were able to get your login fixed!  For information regarding Taskstream, you would need to contact Faculty Development at facultydevelopment@gcu.edu or (602) 639-7004.

You can email them at humanresources@gcu.edu

Offline Gary McDaniel said 16 months ago

Hi---looking for the place in GCU policy that talks about grades if a student does not post also post their assignment in TaskStream

Thanks,

OfflinePhoto of Shanna Huslig Shanna Huslig said 16 months ago

Hi Gary!

I am not sure if there is a set policy on that.  However, if there is, it would be located in the FRC (Faculty Resources tab).  If you look there and cannot find it, you can email them at facultydevelopment@gcu.edu

Offline sarah Arsenault said 16 months ago

I cannot find the tab as well...I am signed in and no tab...

OfflinePhoto of Shanna Huslig Shanna Huslig said 16 months ago

Hi Sarah!

If you signed in using your login for your work computer, you should see "Faculty Resources."  If you logged in using something other than what you use to login to your work computer, you may not have access to it.  It must be the same username and password that you use for your work computer, LC, etc.  Let me know if you are still having trouble!

Offline Joanie Colson said 16 months ago

Sarah may have to contact tech support. I had to do that as they had the wrong email address for me. And then I still had to go back and have them open the tab. It took almost an hour to get it all straightened out.

OfflinePhoto of Shanna Huslig Shanna Huslig said 16 months ago

Hi Joanie!

Thank you for that information!  I am glad to hear that they were able to get it fixed for you!

Hi Aimee!

That would be a question for Faculty Development and you can contact them at facultydevelopment@gcu.edu.  Technical support may be able to assist you if it is a technical issue that is causing the discrepancy.

I have a student who informed me that  her AC suggested she take a two week medical leave from class- I cannot find any information related to granting this option to a student and I'm wondering first, can she do this without any verification that a medical leave is necessary, and second,  why is it that the AC or someone did not contact me. This is disruptive to the Class and the CLC group. Who is in charge here? Is this something that a student can do just like that?

Offline Aimee Cothran said 15 months ago

Jacquie,

I wouldn't honor anything that has to do with an extension that doesn't come from someone at the university.... maybe you can email.... facultydevelopment@gcu.edu and if they can't help you maybe they can send you in the correct direction. :)

Hi  - I am logged in, but do not see the FRC Tab. I'm having the same issue as Joanie.  Robin

OfflinePhoto of Shanna Huslig Shanna Huslig said 13 months ago

Hi Robin!

Did you login using your GCU email login information?  If not, and you used a personal email, you will not be able to access the FRC.  It must be your GCU login credentials that you use in order to gain access to the FRC.

So I have been directed here for infomation about adjunct nursing pay and pay scales and dates but nothing directs me to that information, just here?

OfflinePhoto of Scott Greenberger Scott Greenberger said 10 months ago

John, you will have to contact HR@gcu.edu.

Best regards,

Dr. Greenberger

Debra, In the Faculty Resource Center, you will see a Human Resources Page.  You will see information on those pages that contains pay schedules.

Does this help?

I am logged in and also have no tab. I used the same username as for training, and it says I'm signed in. But I can't find any of these tabs or links that are described.

What does the "main menu" look like? Can anyone tell me what's listed on it or where it is? If I knew maybe then I could locate the resources tab.

Hi, John. I was told to sign in and find the FRC. I did sign in, but all of the described methods to find the FRC don't match up to what is appearing on the page. I've tried different browsers too. It seems I'm not alone. Above in the comments others have been looking for "the tab" and not finding it. Either I need much more specific instructions or the tab just isn't there for me and I'm not sure why that would be. I don't know if you can help me. But since others had posted with the same problem, I thought someone might have an answer to the problem. My instructor is also working on it since I'm not the only one in my class having this trouble. Thanks.

Jeremy, Your profile is now up to date. Please log out and try logging in again. Again, your user name should be the prefix (before the @sign) to your email, and then your password should be the one you use for Loud Cloud. If you continue to have difficulty, please contact Faculty Development directly,

Sincerely,

Dr. Greenberger

Jeremy,

Across the top of your screen when you are in the classroom, you should see a ribbon with the words:

Calendar, Tasks, Connect, Resources, Reports, Announcements.

If you click on the pull down menu for Resources, you should see Faculty Resources.  If you click on that, I think you will see what you need.  Try it.  If that is not what you need, you will need to contact tech support.  They are very helpful.

John Gustafson

Shenequa,

Try this one: https://www1.taskstream.com

Remove preview

They have recently changed the login.  You may need their help to access it.  I have not tried it since the change.
