The Teaching with Technology Conference is now accepting proposals for this year’s conference, October 6–8, 2017 in Baltimore, Md., USA.
The Teaching with Technology Conference, formerly known as the Teaching Professor Technology Conference, explores new ways that technology can facilitate teaching and learning.
For the 2017 Teaching with Technology Conference, we seek experience-based and evidence-based proposals that engage and inform attendees on effective uses of technology within:
•Active Learning Pedagogies
• Course Design
• Emergent Technologies
• Faculty Development
• Student Assessment
Incorporating technology into college teaching practices involves much more than learning how to use a specific piece of software. It’s about exploring the relationship between technology and pedagogy—starting with what students need to know and be able to do, and how technology can support and enhance their learning. This conference is designed to help faculty take a more strategic approach to teaching with technology.
Submissions are due February 27, 2017. Presenters are responsible for their own conference registration fee, travel, and lodging. All submissions go through a blind, peer-review process by the conference advisory board.
For more information about the proposal process and how to submit your proposal, please visit the conference website.
