I do believe that my teaching philosophy follows the teacher-scholar model. In order to inform my teaching responsibilities, I do conduct research studies focusing on relevant areas of investigation. This endeavor provides the guideline to bring up-to-date information to the classroom, comparing theories and practices pertinent to the courses being taught. My research agenda include topics pertinent to public policy,governance, human rights, as well as human development and its relation to government. My recent research activities have highlighted these topics. I do sincerely believe that engaging in research is a scholarly duty for faculty members.
