Faculty Scholarship Recognition Program
The Faculty Scholarship Recognition program recognizes and rewards faculty scholarly activity. The program provides monetary awards for research and scholarly activity conducted as a GCU faculty member. Award funding is a competitive process allocated as a function of the type and frequency of research activities. All GCU faculty members (full-time and adjunct) are eligible to submit scholarly activities for consideration; scholarship completed by faculty approved to teach in a Ph.D. program and/or faculty research related to STEM or SoTL topics receive funding priority. Each of the following scholarly activities will be considered for a monetary award, with a maximum award per faculty member of $500 per year:
Published an academic book or peer-reviewed journal article,
Completed an academic-related performance (concert, production, play, musical, workshop),
Published a book chapter or book review,
Presented at an academic conference,
Published an academic website, blog, non peer-reviewed journal article, and/or
Presented a keynote address or been an invited speaker.
Scholarly activities completed between the dates of December 1, 2017 and May30, 2018 will be considered for the current award cycle. Faculty may receive award once per calendar year.
As a GCU faculty member, if you have completed any of these scholarly activities since January 2018, just enter your scholarly activity in the C.V. Builder for consideration for an award:

Note* If you have kept your faculty profile current by using the C.V. Builder, there is no need to re-enter your scholarship. Previously entered scholarship that meets the criteria (i.e., type and timeframe) will be reviewed and considered for the award.
To be considered for this recognition program, you must update C.V. Builder with your new scholarly activity by May 19, 2018. Recipients of a recognition award will be notified in June 2018.
