Grand Canyon University proudly celebrates Constitution Day and Citizenship Day on September 17, 2014. The purpose of Constitution Day and Citizenship Day is to commemorate the creation and signing of the supreme law of the land and to honor and celebrate the privileges and responsibilities of U.S. citizenship for both native-born and naturalized citizens. It truly is a blessing to be a citizen of our great country.
Please view www.gcu.edu for an overview of the meaning, history, and implications of Constitution Day, as well as a Constitution Day video and games and activities that test your knowledge about the Constitution.
If you happen to be on the campus on Wednesday, a Constitution Day celebration will be held on the GCU Promenade from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on September 17th.
