OfflineThe Canyon Journal of Interdisciplinary Studies is soliciting submissions for Volume 1, Issue 2 (the “Open” issue). Monographs on all subjects are invited; special consideration will be given to topics relating Christianity to any academic discipline. Essays by faculty, staff, students, and alumni of Grand Canyon University, as well as those of other interested contributors, are invited.
Please publicize this opportunity among faculty, staff and students in your respective colleges and operations. The attachment can be used for bulletin boards or in emails to interested parties. A copy of the inaugural issue can be viewed at http://cirt.gcu.edu/research/cjis/current).
Electronic submissions (in .doc or .rtf file types) are encouraged. The deadline for submissions is June 15, 2012. Papers are subject to peer review and editorial revision in consultation with the author. See http://cirt.gcu.edu/research/cjis for further details on "Submissions Guidelines." By way of an overview, these instructions apply:
CJIS GENERAL GUIDELINES
- Length: the paper should be at least 20 pages long (including cover, index, exhibits, references, and attachments).
- Format: APA, MLA, or Chicago (all essays will be reformatted to APA style).
- Submissions: should be made electronically to Dr. James P. Helfers, Professor of English, College of Arts and Sciences.
