You both did a great job on the presentation, and I particularly like the narration! I find that some students definitely need to improve their basic grammar skills. I agree that composition should be focused on more in the non-English courses. Grammar, spelling, paragraph composition, etc. should be weighed more heavily in the grading rubrics for sure. :)

Brian and I have long found it a quandary that students tend to need a lot more work with the "mechanics" of English than can be covered in the basic composition sequence yet our colleagues in other disciplines don't necessarily have the time to try to teach grammar. We hope that, at GCU, a game template like this can work with the student success boosters to help students get a bit more invested in learning "mechanics."
