As a Christian, the doctrinal statement is a strong foundation for strengthening and reminding me of my convictions. At the heart of all we say and do is our belief in God, our faith in Jesus Christ and our willingness to allow the Holy Spirit to work in and through us in our relationships.  Whenever and wherever the opportunity presents itself, whether on Campus, in the classroom, or in our communities, we must exemplify Jesus Christ.  We are commanded to show and respond with love, through our words and actions, regardless of whether others share our beliefs or worldviews.  That is my commitment as a Christian and what I strive to do each day. The message of the gospel is much needed in these turbulent times in our world and every Christian believer has an important role to play.
