Grand Canyon Universities doctrinal statement embodies John 3:16 - For God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten son and whomsoever believes in him shall have everlasting life. The doctrinal statement can be used to reinforce what we as Christians believe but also as an open invitation to those who may not share the same beliefs or faith to become a Christian. In addition, the doctrinal statement can be used as a mirror to help those of us in leadership be reminded how we are experienced and whether our interactions with others consistently aligns with what it means to be a believer in Christ.
