In my classroom as an elementary teacher, I carry myself and bring into my classroom the power of the Holy Spirit. I fill my class with instrumental worship, I pray for those kids that need it (in a private manner as I teach in a charter school), and pray for my classroom at the beginning of and throughout the school year. I pray for coworkers that need prayer when they come to me and even when they don't. I'm excited to have my first role as an adjunct professor be in GCU, where I can openly share my faith and be here for the students who need prayer and request it of me. I'm excited to be able to share scripture with my class if it impacts our lesson without worrying about doing the wrong thing.
