Hello! Where can I find the "Practicum Modification Form" for a student in teacher education?

Thanks!

Hi Andrea!

That form is located on the College of Education website in the Practicum Manual.

Hi,

I would like to inquire about any upcoming courses for faculty.

Thanks,

Katy

Hi Katy!

You need to go to the Faculty Resources tab for information regarding training and development for faculty.

Shanna

I have already been there (I think!) but I don't see anything at all.  I get emails from time to time about 3 day courses, and wonder if there are any going on this month. I couldn't find my last email.

Katy

Hi Katy!

If you cannot find it,  you can email facultydevelopment@gcu.edu to get information and ask questions regarding the trainings.

This is a very cumbersome site for faculty to access needed forms. I have been trying to find my way through the site for a change of grade form. I have logged in and looked for the main menu, which I cannot find. I have attempted to access FRC, but the message I receive says, "Sorry Michael, you do not have access to this." Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. ML

Hi Michael!

For the Faculty Resource Center, you need to contact Faculty Development at facultydevelopment@gcu.edu.  I do know they are currently working to make that section of the website more user friendly and make it easier to find what you need so that will be nice.  To login, it should be the same username and password you use to login to your work computer.  If it is not working, you may need to contact technical support for assistance.

Thank you Shanna. I will follow through with tech support. ML

For Grade change forms:

Go to CIRT main page,  then Faculty Resources choice, then Grade change form choice on that page (3rd down I think).  Direct link (which may or may not work) is

http://vault.gcu.edu/sharepoint_forms/academic_records/grade_change.htm

Hi Shanna,

I am teaching my first class and part of the class set up requires me to post a welcome message on the QFI Forum. Can you please advise me where this is...thanks!

Hi Chris!

The QFI is located in the LoudCloud classroom under the connect tab.  Let me know if you need anything else!

I need to find information about edTPA.  I am teaching SPE548A and am being told by my New York student that they are required to do something different than the other students. I am not certain what she is talking about and have not been given any information about this. Could you guide me to that information?

OfflinePhoto of Shanna Huslig Shanna Huslig said 11 months ago

Hi Gwen!

That would be a question for Faculty Development and you can reach them at facultydevelopment@gcu.edu.  You may be able to locate information regarding that in the FRC but I am not exactly sure where it would be.

Where can I find the practicum site modification form? I looked in the manual as suggested above and cannot find the form. Also - who can I contact with specific questions about the CLC in the course I am teaching?

Thank you!

Danielle
