Hello. I am teaching SPD 470 for the first time. This syllabus and field experience fact sheet say grades 6-8. A few of my elementary/special education majors are requesting to complete their field experience hours at the elementary level. For students planning to pursue a career at the elementary level, am I allowed to make an exception for them to complete their hours in an elementary school?
