Engaging a technological-savvy generation of learners is a daunting challenge. Fortunately, there are a range of Web 2.0 applications that can be integrated into the classroom to foster active learning, increase student’s time-on-task and promote engagement with course material. This chapter provides a framework to guide decisions about technology integration, shows instructors how to integrate Web 2.0 applications to address common instructional challenges.
