One of the best free resources about quantitative research methods
Many doctoral learners, in my online classes and during in-person Residencies, ask me about resources that can help them learn about Statistics in a just-in-time way that is also comprehensive, but not too technical. If you have this need, and you are considering a quantitative dissertation, then the website below might be helpful to you! Of course, there are also qualitative tips on this website, as well. In regard to the quantitative aspects of it, it includes everything from how to gather your data using surveys to how to interpret it. The four broad categories offered are 1) data preparation, 2) descriptive statistics, 3) inferential statistics, and 4) conclusion validity. Each category includes many sub-categories that may be very helpful to you. Of course, this website won't make you a "statistician" if you are not already one, but it should definitely be one of your first stops, in addition to the Open Learning Initiative resource that I posted in my blog yesterday, when you want to start your quantitative dissertation journey!
