I am a new Adjunct Instructor in the Business collage teaching sports marketing.  I also teach sports finance and strength and conditioning for Upper Iowa University.  In the past I have successfully introduced online speakers to give students real world advice and do a Q & A at the end.  Last week I held one for my class this semester.  Chris Hays from the minor league Dodgers gave a great presentation on his journey to his current position.  He is only 25 so the students could really relate to him.  I have suggested that we do a speakers series of GCU alumni that have made it in their chosen profession.  I think it would be great to have past graduates come back and talk to the students via online about their journey and answer questions about their current positions.  I posted the YouTube link below of the presentation.  Take a look and let me know what you think.  The day after the presentation Chris had already started working on internships for two of my students.  I love teaching!!!!
