The Emerging Technologies for Online Learning International Symposium formerly known as the Sloan consortium, was created for the showcase and evaluation of emerging technologies that impact online teaching and learning. The conference is April 22^nd to the 24^th in Dallas including information sessions, hands-on demonstrations, workshops, and discovery sessions. Presentation topics include evidence-based learning and assessment, effective teaching and learning pedagogy and a technology test kitchen.
