Students, Faculty and Staff
Here is an opportunity to get some informed feedback that may help you in your research, whatever stage it is in. If you have an idea, or have started some work on a research project, or are at or nearing completion of your research, the colloquium allows you to showcase your interest and have members of the Grand Canyon University family provide comments and encouragement.
All areas of academic interest are invited to participate.
The colloquium will consist of brief presentations, generally about 20 minutes, during which audience members will be able to ask questions, offer advice or opinions regarding the research, and provide encouragement to the researcher. The presentation should indicate the problem under review and objectives, some brief background on the topic, research methodology, and if available, results. Note that the research need not be completed: proposed or ongoing research projects are welcomed.
The colloquium is scheduled for April 7th. A second date may be added, depending on the number of projects submitted.
Requests to present should be submitted to Dr. R. Kevin McClean ([email protected]) no later than March 6, 2015. Include the research topic to be presented, full name and title, telephone contact information, and organization.
